Intermediate’s workshop – January 2020

Saturday 25th January 2020, the RSCDS Paris Branch is organising a workshop for intermediate dancers, followed by an evening dance for intermediate and advanced dancers.

The workshop is aimed at intermediate dancers, and at beginners who already have some knowledge of Scottish Country Dancing.

Weekend away in Chambéry – Easter 2020

Every four years, the RSCDS Paris Branch organises an international Easter dance weekend for advanced dancers.

This is an early notice for our next weekend away that will take place from April 11th to April 13th 2020 in Chambéry (French Alps, accessible by train from Paris, Geneva and Lyon international airports).

Cèilidh with live music – 21st September 2019

On September 21st 2019, the RSCDS Paris Branch hosts a cèilidh with live music.


Join us for an evening of dances, to the music of the Paris Band. Cèilidh dances are fun dances, often danced during social gatherings in Scotland, that everybody can enjoy. Dancers of all levels are welcome, including beginners.

Some Scottish country dances will also be danced during the evening so that you can discover Scottish Country Dancing and maybe join our Monday class.

Warning: You must have appropriate dance shoes or socks as we will dance in a gym.

Spring Fling/Fringe – April 19th to 21st 2019

From April 19th to 21st 2019, Paris will be the Scottish Country Dancing capital of the World for a weekend.

The RSCDS Paris Branch is happy to welcome the 2019 Spring Fling, the RSCDS international workshop aimed for dancers aged from 12 to 35.

Along with the Spring Fling, the RSCDS Paris Branch will organize a Spring Fringe, an international dance week-end for dancers over 35 with specific classes and joint evening dances.
